The Cardinals College team will be conducting FREE baseball clinics for youth baseball players.


Friday June 5 - 6 to 8 pm
Friday June 12 - 6 to 8 pm
at Spoerl Park on Pingree Road

Players ages 8-12 years old are invited. Players should bring their own mitt and bat. The clinics will focus on fundamental mechanics that every player needs to be successful. This is a great opportunity for local children to learn from local college level players as well as for our team to provide valuable community service.

Parents - take note: Under Armour recalls athletic cups due to risk for injury

WASHINGTON (AP) — Under Armour Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of more than 200,000 athletic cups as they can break when hit, posing a risk of serious injury to the wearer.Baltimore-based Under Armour said it has received five reports of cups breaking and one report of injury, which involved cuts and bruising.Under Armour and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which announced the recall together, said consumers should stop using recalled products. The products can be returned to Under Armour for a $20 voucher.The recall involves all athletic cups that have the Under Armour logo, including adult, teen and youth sizes. The cups were sold individually and as part of a set with certain shorts at sporting good stores nationwide from January 2006 through March 2009.
